Description

337781, has been superseded by RTC6248 Safari Rear Door for Land Rover Series, fitted between 1958-1984.

337781 has been superseded by RTC6248, which also accommodates the spare wheel fitment. The original door featured holes in the outer skin for the spare wheel mounting and an additional support bracket near the door handle to support its weight.

This is the earlier-style two-hinge rear door, supplied unglazed and without spare wheel mounting holes. It also has provision for a third hinge. If you require the additional support bracket for the spare wheel, the earlier Defender rear door is available here.

British made and manufactured to closely follow the design and contours of the original Land Rover part. Our replacement Safari Rear Door are produced using a heavy-duty aluminum outer skin with a steel frame. The aluminum skin is bonded to the frame, rather than simply fixed mechanically, therefore providing a clean and durable replacement for your restoration.

We supply the panel pre-etched*, ready for preparation and top coating with Paintman Coach Enamel.
