MTC1039 Land Rover Defender Rear Body Mounting Rail. Land Rover Defender Rear Body Mounting Rail – to fit all models from 1984 to end of the Defender vehicles.
MTC1039 is item number 10 on the Blow up parts diagram in the photographs. It is not supplied with the corner brackets, these should be transferred from the old unit.

Our Rear Body Mounting Rail for the Defender Models are manufactured from aluminum and primed for the UK market to increase corrosion resistance. They are ready to accept a topcoat of Paintman Coach Enamel. They follow faithfully the design and contour of the original Land Rover OEM part. Colour of etch primer may vary.
British made by craftsmen… its the way we like them. We fit all of our own products, we know what an excellent product they are. There is nothing worst than a cheaper product that takes twice the time to fit and doesn’t look correct once fitted. Watch out for pretenders!!
Original design and contours
Our panels are developed to closely follow the design, shape and contours of the original Land Rover component.
Quality construction
Made using heavy-duty aluminium for the outer skin and steel for the frame, providing a robust replacement designed for long-term use. The aluminium skin is bonded to the steel frame for a clean, secure and durable assembly.
Pre-etched
Supplied with an etch primer, ready for preparation and painting.
Quality checked
Every panel is checked before dispatch as part of our quality control process.

We fit our own products and understand how important good fit and correct contours are when restoring a Land Rover. We only want to supply panels we’d be happy using on our own vehicles.
